Round Table: Authoritarian Practices and Humanitarian Negotiations

‘’This roundtable will introduce themes presented in a new edited volume, Authoritarian Practices and Humanitarian Negotiations, published in the Routledge Humanitarian Studies series. Contributors to the volume will discuss the importance of the themes presented in the book, focusing on the usefulness of the ‘authoritarian practices’ framework in analysing humanitarian crises and how humanitarian organisations can better negotiate access in such environments. The roundtable will launch a discussion of the next steps in researching these themes.’’
