Abstract

This report convenes the perspectives of activists, peacebuilders, and decision-makers to examine the ways the international aid system has continued to perpetuate and reinforce global-local power inequalities, many of which replicate past colonial dynamics, as well as some recommendations for how stakeholders from donors to practitioners to academics can play an active role in shifting power, creating a more horizontal International aid system.
