Abstract

Ben daha önce kenara bazı özetler almıştım. Başvuruda 200 kelime sınırı olduğu için şöyle bir özet geçiyorum: This presentation is based on an impact analysis of the Supporting Community-Led Response (SCLR) approach implemented in Turkey between 2021 and 2024. SCLR is an innovative and inclusive humanitarian intervention model based on micro-grants that enables communities directly affected by disasters to identify their own needs and develop solutions. The program, implemented by Support to Life (STL), demonstrated how local capacity can be mobilized in post-disaster recovery processes, community initiatives implemented in Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, and Malatya following the 6th February 2023 earthquakes. This impact study evaluates the level of community participation in decision-making processes, the relationships they have established with local actors, their empowerment levels, and their long-term sustainability potential using qualitative and quantitative methods. The presentation will discuss the program's impact on women, children, people with disabilities, and refugee communities, as well as its recommendations for structural transformation of the humanitarian aid system. In addition, findings on how STL's vision of localization and community-led humanitarian aid is being implemented in the field will be shared.
