The aim of this panel then is to question the current state of thinking on the inclusion of displaced communities, and introduce new methods and approaches to concepts for a new framing of the issue of networks and planning with local populations impacted by crises and climate change. The panel will zoom in on experiences of refugees and IDPs’ in cities and reflect on ways forward in terms of their representation and participation in policy and programming. Three of the papers will be drawn from the Protracted Displaced in an Urban World consortium, and two others will focus on the situation in Bangladesh.
