In this session, three community leaders and one Support to Life MEAL officer from Türkiye will share their experiences implementing projects through the sclr approach. They will highlight how this methodology has empowered their communities, the innovative solutions they developed to address local challenges, and the steps they have taken to ensure long-term sustainability.

The Marmaris Bayır Youth Group, represented by Semih Öztekin, has launched a fire container and water tanker project to increase disaster preparedness and response capacity in Marmaris due to fires and ongoing risks. The Altın Bilezik Community, represented by Ümmü Gülsüm in Kahramanmaraş, has launched a sewing workshop project to support women's psychosocial well-being and strengthen their livelihoods after the earthquake. In Hatay, the Koyunoğlu Soup Kitchen, represented by Necati Oğural, completed a project to provide raw material support for food production to soup kitchens and equipment support to enable women in the community to produce food through cooperative efforts. Support to Life’s MEAL Officer, Ali Orhan Yılmaz, will present on an impact analysis of the sclr approach implemented in Türkiye between 2021 and 2024.
