This roundtable wants to give space to conference participants to discuss the humanitarian implications of the conflict in Israel and Gaza. Since the atrocities of 7 October by Hamas and the massive retaliation of Israel, concerns are paramount about the catastrophic humanitarian implications of the crisis and the weaning respect for International Humanitarian Law. The roundtable is meant to reflect on these issues and on possible roles and contributions of humanitarian scholars.
