Bio | Wohab is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at North South University (NSU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before joining NSU, he worked as a Casual Academic at the College of Education, Psychology, and Social Work at Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. Wohab also worked in Child Protection and Community Development projects at the Aboriginal Communities in the countryside of Australia. Wohab has a PhD in Sociology from the University of South Australia, Adelaide, and Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. His research works have been published in international peer-reviewed journals. He has presented his research works at different international conferences in the UK, Turkey, Australia, Bangladesh, and Thailand. His opinion and research outputs have also been published in the daily newspapers in Bangladesh. He is currently working on a research project on youth involvement in Internet violence in Bangladesh. |
