| Bio | Anthropologist specialized in risk and disaster management, peacebuilding, and local-level coexistence. She holds a PhD in Human Sciences: Geography, Anthropology, and African and Asian Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid (2021). She is currently a researcher at the Center for Education and Research for Peace (CEIPAZ) and a part-time lecturer in the Department of Social Anthropology and Social Psychology at the Complutense University of Madrid. She previously worked as principal investigator and project officer at the Institute for Human Rights, Democracy, Culture of Peace and Nonviolence (DEMOSPAZ) at the Autonomous University of Madrid (2017–2024). As a freelance applied anthropologist, she has conducted research on disasters and risk perception in Ukraine and Spain (2007–present). She also served as a consultant for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Regional Center for Latin America and the Caribbean in Panama (2014–2018), contributing to several disaster risk reduction projects in the region. She is currently coordinator and researcher for the CEIPAZ project “The Women, Peace and Security Agenda in the Implementation of the Triple Nexus in Spanish Cooperation,” funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). |
