Meral Açıkgöz is a PhD student in Evaluation Studies at the University of Minnesota and a former Fulbright Hubert H. Humphrey Public Policy Fellow. She has over 15 years of experience in migration policy, international development, and program evaluation. Currently a project manager at ICMPD Türkiye, she leads an EU-funded initiative on international migration cooperation. Previously, she held senior roles at IOM Türkiye and contributed to national migration strategies and refugee response programs. She also worked as an independent consultant for various international organizations for three years while transitioning into her PhD studies and completing her coursework. Her research focuses on evaluation use in complex international organizations, particularly within the UN system. |
