Fees and Registration 

The conference will be held in a hybrid form. Included in your ticket:
In-person: Three day access including lunch, coffee/tea breaks and access to all side events. We also offer one conference dinner. After the event you will gain access to all panel recordings.
Online: Online access to all live stream sessions and side events plus to all recordings after the conference. Beware that if you sign up as an online participant the panel will still take place local Bangladesh time! 

We also offer discount tickets this year. To find out if you are eligible for a discount please read the information below.

Discounts are based on self-assessment. The aim of the discounted option is to support attendance from those unable to participate under the full fee. Under a framework of solidarity, please consider that opting for a discount might have an effect on the participation of others; therefore we kindly request you to register under the full fee if you have the resources to do so. Examples of former discount holders are students, precarious/short contracts, those representing an organisation in a low or middle income country, and retired and unemployed people. If you fit one of these categories yet avail of resources to back up your participation, you are kindly requested to forfeit the discount.

** Three panel access – online only
With this ticket you can get online access to three online zoom panel sessions out of 60+. After purchasing your ticket, you can send us an email which panels you would like to attend. Find the complete list here. Please note that all panels take place in local Bangladesh time. This ticket can be bought up to the day of the conference. You will not have access to the recordings of the sessions.

Bangladeshi participants
The conference fee for Bangladeshi participants is 50 euros in total for the three days. You can buy your ticket using Credit Card or PayPal via the link below. If these payment options are not an option for you please reach out to so we can help you find an alternative.

Refugees & crisis-affected people
Upon request from the panel organiser, refugees and other crisis-affected people are allowed to attend up to 3 panels for free. Requests can be send to

You are more than welcome to join the conference as a participant without presenting, however the conference fee will remain the same. You can make your payment by registering on the website.


If you join IHSA as a member (25 euro annually), you receive a 50 euro discount on your conference ticket.

Group payments
If you would like to make a group payment via direct deposit and for those who cannot pay the conference fee by Credit Card/iDeal or Paypal, you can download a personalized invoice via your account page. Conditions and cancellation
In case you cancel in-person participation but do want to join online, you will be refunded the difference in ticket price. This can be done until October 15th 2023. Refunds in case of cancellation can not be made after October 15th 2023. In case of any unforeseen event (force majeure) that causes the conference to be cancelled. The Organising Committee will not be held responsible for not being able to provide full refund and will not accept liability for any losses incurred in the event of cancellation or postponement. Registration is binding. Only cancellations received in writing in advance will be considered.

How do we decide the fee? 
As our conferences always take place in different geographic locations, our costs vary depending on the location and the host. This makes it that our conference prices are never the same each year. This is a non-profit event.
