How do we know if the Agenda for Humanity is succeeding? A discussion with UN OCHA
The World Humanitarian Summit (2016) was a pivotal moment for the humanitarian community in terms of coming together to discuss how to be more inclusive, improve aid delivery and ultimately decrease need. At the Summit, the UN Secretary- General laid out a 5-point plan on how to achieve this: the Agenda for Humanity. Stakeholders made commitments under this plan on how they would undertake systemic change to deliver for those most vulnerable. In this panel debate, OCHA will provide a brief background on how the reporting process for the Agenda for Humanity Annual Synthesis report works, how stakeholder reporting can be used to evaluate progress since the Summit as well as some preliminary insights and trends from this year's reporting, ahead of the Annual Synthesis Report launch in December 2018.
