Abstract
In response to this film, I’m please to share insights on aid security, wellbeing and work as they are conceptualized by the humanitarian sector, through lenses of risk, care and altruism. All of this is underpinned by the continued (and colonial) reification of a racialized distinction between “affected populations” and “humanitarian responders”.
