| Bio | Researcher specialised in gender and peacebuilding, with a strong focus on the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda and Feminist Foreign Policy. She holds a PhD in Anthropology and Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid and brings over 30 years of experience in peacebuilding, international conflict analysis, gender, and peace education. She is the founder and Executive Director of the Centre for Education and Research for Peace (CEIPAZ), established in 2007. From 2016 to 2024, she served as co-director of the DEMOSPAZ Institute at the Autonomous University of Madrid. She is member of the panel of experts on the Global Peace Index . Currently, she leads the research project The Women, Peace and Security Agenda in the Implementation of the Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) Nexus, funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). |
