| Bio | Nazanin Zadeh-Cummings is an Assistant Professor of International Relations and Humanitarian Action at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. She currently teaches humanitarian studies courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, including as part of the Network on Humanitarian Assistance (NOHA) joint MA programme. Her research has focused on three streams - humanitarian issues in North Korea; humanitarian education and pedagogy; and global humanitarian issues such as localisation. Previously, she was the Associate Director of Research at the Centre for Humanitarian Leadership/Senior Lecturer in Humanitarian Studies (Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia). She holds a PhD in Asian and International Studies from City University of Hong Kong, a NOHA Master's of International Humanitarian Action, and an MA in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh. |
