Bio As an Assistant Professor at Audencia Business School, I have over ten years of academic and practical experience in humanitarian ethics, a field that examines the moral norms and practices of humanitarian action in a complex and changing world. My research and teaching focus on the ethical dimensions of business practices within the context of humanitarian crises and disasters, such as conflicts, pandemics, and climate change.

I apply ethical theories and humanitarian ethics frameworks to analyse the ethical dilemmas, power dynamics, and socio-political complexities that underpin the cross-sector collaborations between businesses and humanitarian organisations. My goal is to guide and influence these partnerships to achieve sustainable, collective, and morally justifiable outcomes for the affected populations and the humanitarian community. I also contribute to the 'What is climate humanitarianism' project by exploring the ethical implications of 'managed retreat' in climate adaptation. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of humanitarian ethics and climate justice.

My research analyses the extent to which international non-governmental organisations have succeeded in carrying out humanitarian assistance in times of conflict and war. Through examining international organisations’ refugee policies with moral norms and theories of rights, I aim to enable humanitarian organisations to engage in effective policymaking and efficient implementation by setting out a clear morally relevant value to the contemporary humanitarian aid dilemma.
